Treated Pine supplied by Cape Lumber Marketing is CCA treated, H2 for internal use like roof trusses, purlins, wall plates and rafters and H3 for external use like decking, fencing, pergola’s and more. Vacsol Azure H2 treatment (clear treatment) is also an option for exposed trusses and beams used internally.

Description
Treated Pine supplied by Cape Lumber Marketing is kiln dried and graded to SABS/SATAS standards and is sourced from reputable sawmills in the Western and Eastern Cape where South Africa’s best Pine is grown.
Structural Pine (38mm, 50mm, 76mm) is all sized to ensure uniformity and is stress graded to S5 as per the building regulations, S7 is graded on request when specified by an architect or a structural engineer. Industrial grade Pine, 25mm thick is generally graded to an Industrial specification and is used for pallets, upholstered furniture, bed bases, fencing, decking and other products. Some select and clear grade Pine is selected by certain mills; however these grades are generally in short supply.
Treated Pine is required along our coastal regions and adjacent interiors, Pine is CCA Treated to (Hazard class) H2 for interior use above ground like framing, roof trusses, wall plates, purlins, and battens and {Hazard class) H3 for external and above ground use like timber decks, pergolas, balustrades, fencing and other uses. Vacsol Azure H2 Treated Pine (clear treatment) can be supplied on request and is used internally for laminated beams, exposed trusses and moulded products like t & g flooring, t & g ceiling boards and other products.
