Description
Thermo wood is engineered wood that has been modified by a controlled pyrolysis process of wood being heated to (> 180 °C) in an oxygen free atmosphere. Thermal modification significantly improves the woods properties, thereby expanding the range of applications in which the wood can be used.
Thermo wood is known for its dimensional stability, durability and sustainability. It does not need any surface coating, no matter the climatic conditions, which makes it ecological through out its life cycle.
